poor again

man, my palms hurt from all the crutching I've been doing. I can't wait 'till I can walk again.
So a couple awesome things happened to me today.
First, I had to go down to this resource fair thing and deliver a small blurb about my volunteership. That's no big deal, but when I crutch out to my car in the morning, I see that my poor car had been a victim of a hit and run. I have a big ugly dent on my driver's side door now and it will cost me $300 dollars to not have to look at it and feel utter contempt for the person who put it there, sucking away my hard-earned and oh-so-rare surplus of money.
F* it. I went to the resource fair, which sucked out a part of my soul due to it's poor organization, excess of unenthusiastic kid-hip hop dance, and bad re-lyricizing of "We are the World" (Change 'we' to 'they' in any phrases including the word children and it's suddenly more profound! :| )
Plus they failed to get me the wheelchair I had been requesting all day and kept passing the buck until I finally got somebody's son to help me.
Itch, Itch, Itch, I know.
So to make myself feel better, I went shopping like a good little capitalist/consumer and spend probably too much money at the Nordstrom's anniversary sale. 2 shirts to looks businesslike and 1 white fluffy skirt to accent my summer brownness. woohoo!
That was hard work though, so I came home and crashed.
Watched "Diabolique" (the original) with Tony and J.P. and here I sit watching VH1 soul and oogle-ing Alliyah's pants, since she is my pants and stomach idol.
BTW, good job, Ciara, for coming out. :) The stank face should have been a dead giveaway that she wasn't just another piece of funky eye candy. mad props.
