Goodbye for now, Ballard!

I'm off to K's wedding today. Took Thursday and Friday off so I can go down and perform the bridesmaid's duty of reducing bride freak-out sessions.
The bachelorette party went really well. K came up when she said she would (a rarity among my friends) and it was just the two of us and VAJ for the first night. It was nice and low key, like planned - a little happy hour dinner here, a drink there, another snack, another drink, another dinner, some karaoke, more food... VAJ and K seemed to get along really well, which made me happy since I have at least 3 groups of friends that definitely do not mesh well already.
The second day of K's visit the rest of the chicks trickled into Seattle. We went on a quest for busty lingerie and snacks. Gatorade bottles emptied and refilled sustained us for the first part of the day until nighttime came, 2 meals passed, and it was time for the 3rd. The 3rd meal came a little harder. We got distracted by the prep ceremony and didn't end up at the dinner place until after their kitchen was closed. I had vowed not to take my friends to a chain restaurant, but we ended up at McCormick's anyway. The burgers were worth it. At least it had tillamook cheese.
Night turned into late-night and after a stop at a bar we made our way back to my apartment where the party continued.

Here's a blurry picture of the bar.

The next morning consisted of very slow waking-up and a round of Monsters Inc. for K while I helped J cirsumvent (sic) traffic and picked up the keyless entry remote for my car.

I think she looked pretty good by the afternoon:

So I'm off to finish the job. Wish me luck in my 2 hr. bus adventure down to Tacoma! Wish this girl luck in her new murrrige!

P.S. I'm afraid I might have to make an emergency toast - can anyone send me a cheat-sheet?!
