Moderate amounts
wow. Had a really rough 2 weeks.
Settling in to my new apartment has just started even though I moved in almost 2 weekends ago. This past week was exhausting. My work had a conference in downtown Seattle and I celebrated by eating too much of some delicious but strong and unrefrigerated-for-a-questionable-amount-of-time goodies from the kim chee bar. The next day I staggered into work where I decided I was too sick to stay and then crawled (drove) over to T's where he took care of me and my 101+ fever by dousing me with nyquil and providing me with water upon request. Thanks goodness for him because sitting up to even drink the water was something I had to pep talk myself into.
Then the unthinkable happened - I didn't want to eat anything other than chicken soup for the next 2 days. But tomorrow I'll eat sushi. ;)
After that initial fever day, I went into work late, deciding it was the food and not the super-contagious virus I thought it was, played some music to motivate the room of square white folks, spoke the worst spanish ever por telefono (I forgot how to say "me llamo"!) and scheduled myself for a 1 hour massage next week. yay!
Now, a day and a half into my 4 and 1/2 day weekend, I have new flatware, a clean kitchen, my books in a bookcase, and my shoes in a shoe-case.
Time for more vegging!
