Lazypants II

A firetruck just pulled up across the street from my building. They checked up on this person who was laying down against the rocks at the base of a small condo unit. At first I thought he was an old drunk dude, but now, maybe 10 minutes later I see that he is a young person with a backpack. The firemen left so I assume he's not in any physical danger. Some woman came out from the building and talked to the firemen and they went back into the truck and left. Now he's scooting along the sidewalk and defeatedly throwing his crutches in front of him since he apparently has a broken leg or something of the sort.
Part of me wants to go help him, but the other part says that the firemen would have taken care of him if he really needed it. So I guess I'll just leave him alone. I can't tell from my window if he's dangerous or anything. Looks like he's just frustrated at his crutches and his condition, which I can relate to somewhat since I sprained my ankle pretty bad just a year ago.

In other news, I start my new job next Monday and I can't wait to get out of the crappy shit mudslide my organization is slowly becoming. I will be sad to leave some really cool people/coworkers, but in an ideal world I won't lose any friendships since I live 2 blocks away from work.

Crutch-guy is crawling across the street now and just went out of sight. I hope he makes it home okay!

I'm going to sleep.
