I like this person's writing style, and cynicism.

Diamonds are for Never

So - I guess I've bought into the idea that diamonds are special. I can't help it. They're shiny and I like shiny things.
But I'm thinking maybe when it comes time for me to piss my money away on a shiny reflective rock for myself, I'll praise science, not oppression.
