Just for Funsies
I bought a couch! It's sorta gross; pink, from Goodwill, oldish. I'll take a picture later.
I'm going to borrow my coworker's staple-gun and re-upholster the crap out of it...if I can find some good cheap fabric and if couch-cover shopping fails tonight. Maybe I'll just find a bunch of mismatched cheap fabric and patchwork it together. It'll be like a quilt! Oh - so meaningful!

I'd start working on it tonight but, ladies figure skating! I have loved figure skating since I was a wee girl, but stopped watching men's sometime after Elvis Stoijko. Oh - I remember when figure skating fell for me...duh. It was the Oksana Baiul-Viktor Petrenko Live Incest Variety Exhibition Show in 1993/4 in which they performed a horribly misguided attempt-to-be-hip routine to Swing the Mood by Jive Bunny and the Mastermixers. (If you listen to that - prepare to be punished. revision: I just listened and you can't quite tell how awful it is, but there are hints)
Oh well, new developments such as revised scoring techniques seem to have done wonders for ice dancing, so I wonder how it'll fare with ladies (probably fine because they're always awesome anyway). We'll see tonight! I'm going to go stare and giggle at that ice dancing gallery I posted just now...

OMG!!! I remember that Oksana Baiul/Viktor Petrenko routine! Because I was a huge fan of both of theirs, and was trying to find all these excuses for them... I also remember that Elvis Stojko basically only performed to Van Halen's "You Really Got Me Now."
So now you can have a housewarming party!
Whoa! You're right! about Elvis Stojko and housewarming. hehee. I will wait until I can at least cover the couch though. it's ick. On the plus side, it was $14.00.
