My grandma is in heaven now

John Patrick told me Grandma has to be in heaven now because ilokanos are not allowed in hell. Apparently it's because they thought that satanas was a kambing!

I posted a new photoshop photo gallery of the photos I took from the day Grandma died up to the funeral.

http://hmmv.buckybits.com/grandmarosa/

The photos are not edited. There are pictures of my family being sad, my family being happy. My grandma after she died and my family in church and saying the rosary.
She is still alive in the one where she we are gathered around her and she is in bed. Also, there are lots of blurry ones and sideways ones.

I just got kicked off the computer her at work. damn

trouble

I'm going to oly early tomorrow morning because my grandma has only a few days left in this world. I think she's ready to rest now.
I got word from Cowsin C that the doctor said Grandma is going to die within the next couple days. I was at work.
I left work at noon and went home to find my car broken into, spoiling my plans to go down today. I filed a police report and took it to a repair place after some other annoying events transpired. Finally I made it home to realize I don't have any money...again.
well, it's no big deal. as long as i get to be with my family this weekend...
I'm tired now. will try to post from oly...

Goodbye election...but it's not over.

Not over as in: I get to spend the next 15 days working long days in the elections office.

NOT representing anyone but myself (that is, stepping outside of work):

There are not enough words for me to express how disappointed I am in the presidential race, and the increase of inbalance in the house and senate. And with 2 possible new appointments to the Supreme court, you have to ask, "What will happen with our checks and balances?"

too many bad things to express. I keep writing sentences and then erasing them. bleh bleh bleh

political ears

tonight my political ears come out...as if you couldn't always see them.
I just thought tonight would be a great time to blog this election.
here I go

seattle 4:47pm
Bush has 39 electoral and Kerry has 3. Ohio, Virginia, and the Carolinas have yet to be counted, but their polls have closed. the original glance at electoral votes scared me at first, but I realized the night is young. yikes

5:54 pm
I just spend like half an hour on a stressful call. yuck. electoral votes have started to even out relatively, which is not shocking. people at work think there will be riots if bush wins. I have less faith in the revolutionary nature of this country.

7:18
dude, this is starting to hurt my feelings. I know that the likely kerry states are not all counted yet, but still. I am looking at bush's ugly mo face on cnn.com and his fake grin is taunting me-like "nyea nyeah, you shouldn't try to have faith in your country, dumbass."
I think that they shortened kerry's picture cause his face doesn't look so long.

bah. bah. bah. there is still a republican lead in senate and house too. m.f.

7:53
faith is fading fast. swing states seem to be tipping towards bush. I'm gonna go do some physical labor to get ballots in. argh

12:11 am
Another election night is ending undecided and now the focus is on Provisional ballots in ohio. I bet there will be a shitload of calls tomorrow about provisional ballots. fuck. faith is gone. only hope is left, but it's quite resigned.
it's close. I hope I wake up to good news tomorrow.
